Now you can listen to the latest single from Ritualize, ‘Hong Kong (Lady of Love)’ which features Ariel Pink, over at Noisey. The new joint is one of my favorites from the upcoming LP. With pulsating Juno synths, four-on-the-floor kick, and a blazing sax solo that’s more Michael Mann than Mike Jones, this is new dystopia rap.

This_Ecstatic_Cult-Email-545px‘This Ecstatic Cult’ is the latest single from the upcoming Lushlife / CSLSX LP, Ritualize. It’s a joint that takes on broken religious, political, and socioeconomic systems with a fire verse from Killer Mike. But, smooth, electro-soul production and a hypnotic chorus from CSLSX play the counterbalance, betraying an on-the-low summertime banger as Mike and I trade class warfare rhymes.

Hard to believe, but it’s only been a month since we announced the upcoming Lushlife album, Ritualize. With buzz building faster than expected, we’ve decided to release ‘The Waking World,’ a brand new single featuring our friends, the Swedish shoegaze duo, I Break Horses.

With frenetic but still sublime production from CSLSX, the song is meant to be a surreal exploration of Mark David Chapman’s mindset on the morning he assassinates John Lennon.

Stream it now via tastemaking UK music blog, The Line of Best Fit.

I started working on this cover of Billy Idol’s 1983 classic, Eyes Without a Face while bored hanging around in airports last month. Then, a few days ago I happened to catch Georges Franju’s incredible 1960 French horror film that the song is inspired by, and it made me kind of stoked to release this demo as an offering to the 2k15 late-night Halloween party jam gods.
